While we attempt to maintain the same schedule for all of our seminars, this schedule may change from seminar to seminar. Any changes to this general schedule for a specific seminar will be posted on the seminar specific page on this web site.
NOTE: In order to qualify for continuing education credit, participants must be present for the entire seminar. No partial credit can be awarded. Our seminars will begin promptly at the designated times. Participants seeking credit are reminded that they must complete continuing education documentation upon arrival and departure and should allow time to do so.
Admission
While we try to accommodate everyone who wants to attend our seminars, seating for each seminar is limited. At-door registration is not guaranteed. Registration will close when all seats are reserved. When all seats for a seminar are reserved and registration for that seminar is closed we will add a clear note to this web site. If there is no note, we are still accepting registrations so hurry up and send in your registration form and payment. Professional Programing reserves the right to determine each registrants attendance eligibility and reserves the right to reject any registration for any or no reason.
Payment
We accept checks and money orders as payment of your seminar registration fee. We do not accept credit cards or checks by phone. Cash will be accepted at the door but please do not mail cash as we are not responsible for lost mail. Remember, the sooner you register for a seminar the bigger your discount so register early!
A $25 fee will be accessed for all returned checks and we reserve the right to require a money order or cash once a check has been returned. In addition, we reserve the right to charge the then current seminar price which may result in the loss of early registration discounts.
Confirmation
Registration confirmation is done solely by e-mail. A valid e-mail address is required to register for our seminars. A courtesy postcard will be mailed to the address on file about one week prior to each seminar and will list everyone from that address who is registered for that specific seminar.
Dress Recommendations
Dress for all Professional Programing seminars is business casual which means that suits, ties, junk jeans and shorts are all discouraged. Please dress comfortably and leave the funeral suit at home!
Food Service
Beverage service is always available at our seminars and when possible we will provide a snack during our breaks. Providing lunch for groups our size has become increasingly difficult and costly. The space necessary to table seat everyone in a group our size is often a problem and the cost for lunch can easily exceed $4,000 per seminar. Unless otherwise stated on an individual seminar page, lunch will be the responsibility of each attendee. In other words, lunch is on your own. We will always encourage the meeting facility to offer a price controlled and enjoyable lunch option (like a hot buffet). We will also provide information about area lunch options during the seminars and you are always welcome to bring your own food and beverage to any of our seminars.
Overnight Accommodations
All of our seminars are held in or near clean, comfortable and affordable hotels. When our seminars are held in a hotel, we ask the hotel to extend a discounted sleeping room rate to our attendees so just ask for the Professional Programing rate. Many of our attendees enjoy extending their trip for a few days to relax and enjoy the area and the hotels are happy to oblige. While each attendee is solely responsible for their own sleeping rooms we would be happy to assist you in arranging your overnight accommodations.
Rain Dates & Seminar Changes
All Professional Programing Seminars will be held as scheduled regardless of weather. In the extremely unlikely event that a seminar must be postponed, we will make every reasonable effort to notify the registered seminar attendees as soon as possible. All seminar changes will be posted on this web site immediately upon determination. This web site is the fastest way to learn of any and all seminar changes.
Directions and Area Information
Please contact the seminar site directly for driving directions and area information. Most sites have web sites that offer good driving directions. We also recommend that you use www.Google.com to learn more about the area and www.MapQuest.com for driving directions.
Refunds, Transfers & Credits
We understand that funeral service is unpredictable and that scheduling a day away from the funeral home is almost impossible so Professional Programing offers you three ways to protect your registration dollars.
- Refunds: A full refund will be issued if a registration is canceled no later than 30 days prior to a seminar. A refund of $50 will be issued if a registration is canceled no later than 10 days prior to a seminar.
- Transfers: A registration may be transferred from the original attendee to a substitute attendee at no additional cost if done no later than 8:00 a.m. on the day of the seminar.
- Credit: A registration may be converted to a credit for a future Professional Programing seminar if done no later than 8:00 a.m. on the day of the original seminar.
NOTE: Seminar credits are not transferable and are valid for one full year from the date of the original seminar. Seminar credits may only be used once and are valued at the amount originally paid or the current registration fee of the second seminar, whichever is lower. Seminar credits have no cash value.
Questions and Additional Information
The fastest and easiest way to get answers to most, if not all, of your questions and to find complete information on all of our seminars is to visit our web site, www.PPSeminars.com. All seminar details and/or changes will be posted on this web site immediately upon determination. This web site is the fastest way to find seminar information. If, after visiting our web site, you still have questions we invite you to contact us via e-mail or telephone. Our e-mail address is Info@PPSeminars.com and our toll-free telephone number is 1-888-897-3364. We look forward to hearing from you and to seeing you at the seminars.
Changes and Advisory
Professional Programing reserves to right to change seminar topics, seminar presenters, seminar dates, seminar sites and/or any other seminar details at any time and without notice. All seminar changes will be posted on this web site immediately upon determination. This web site is the fastest way to learn of any and all seminar changes. Any and all changes to seminars will be made at the complete discretion of Professional Programing and will not entitle any attendee to a discount and/or a refund. Professional Programing further reserves the right to cancel any seminar at any time and without notice. Any cancellation of a seminar will entitle the attendees of that seminar to a maximum payment of the registration amount originally paid.
Professional Programing seminars often detail the embalming, restoration and cremation of actual human remains. Portions of the seminars will be graphic and may be disturbing to those who are not licensed funeral directors and/or embalmers. Please do not register for these seminars unless you are a funeral service licensee or trained professional conditioned to observe the embalming of human remains. Every person registering for a Professional Programing Seminar agrees to hold Professional Programing, it’s agents, employees, sponsors and owners harmless from any and all damages.
